In this video you can ride along on Bundesstraße B236 from Münchhausen to Winterberg. In the first part you may notice the construction of the new B252 (realignment) just outside of Münchhausen. Meanwhile this road has opened after many years of construction.
I featured the ‘old’ B252 in an earlier video on the channel, from Marburg to Münchhausen. The new alignment of the B252 has the main purpose to bypass some of the towns on the way, including Münchhausen.
The B236 starts in Münchhausen and ends in Winterberg. Winterberg is a ‘Kurort’ or spa town in the scenic Hochsauerland area of Germany. If the winter is harsh enough it’s an okay location for skiing as well. Unfortunately because of the rain visibility was very poor on this trip.
