    1. as a native born here lived my whole life here, just eat a simple bitoque rice, cow, egg, chips, salad, loads of olive oil its by far the best food we have (for deserts and snacks pastel de nata and croquetes)

edit: doesnt matter the place every restaurant is good here, the sketchier and less touristy the better the food

    3. I love Portugal food, however consensus across most important international experts and specialised sites rank Italy, France and China as the top three cuisines in the world.

    5. I daresay it is. First of all, it has influenced pretty much every cuisine in the world, from Hawaiian malassadas and Brazilian feijoada to Indian curry and Japanese tempura. Secondly, I can't think of any dishes from other cultures which can rival arroz de tamboril, polvo à lagareiro, alheira, cabrito assado, bacalhau com natas, caldo verde… or of any sweets better than natas do céu, pastel de feijão, queijadas de Tentúgal, baba de camelo… Needless to mention Portuguese wines and cheeses. 😋

    6. 0:38 Is western civilization really at this point? who cares if people are offended by food, its their problem their issue to work with, a lobster, a shrimp, a piece of beef or even this youtuber making the video, no one is enacting violence on you, grow up.

    7. Great video! We really have amazing food 😊 but just a quick note: carne de porco à alentejana actually originated in the Algarve region, it only has that name because the pork that was used to make this recipe was from Alentejo 😊

    8. Good food for anyone , soo many soo good like Cozido à Portuguesa,Feijoada transmontana , one good caldeirada de peixe um arroz de cabidela arroz de pato etc etc etc

    9. Peri peri chicken is a mozambican/ south african thing , portuguese people love roasted chicken but never have I ever seem it with peri peri 😩 you can always request the spicy sauce to add it though
