Welcome to day two in Kuala Lumpur now coming to Google Maps I’m now right in the city center and this is where a lot of the most historic buildings are located all within the short space of each other not sure what this is this is probably on the uh Heritage Trail

Maybe when we get around the corner we can get a better look at it and find out what it is all right then this will lead us so a lot of the historic buildings Kuala Lumpur right what’s this then this is the pejabat UK FMS llama the old FMS survey office

Just next to that we have the pangong bandaraya the city theater I’m really surprised how empty it is this is like the historic part of Kuala Lumpur and there’s no bug around Abdul Samad building but check it out from the front on the night of August 30th 1957 the Union Jack was lowered

I think it might be missing huh this is the old Railway headquarters building which was built in 1913 by a British architect named Mr a hubbock and construction work was temporarily interrupted by the first World War part of the building was damaged during World War II when it was bombed and then

In 1968 the same part of the building was gutted by fire well that’s where the confusion I hope there was the railway headquarters and this building what I was unsure about this is the actual station and uh 1892 this was built the first ever Railway to connect Kuala Lumpur

Ran from Kuala Lumpur to clang on the 22nd of September 1886. I’m not sure what is in here is it actually still a railway station looks like yeah let’s go and have a look see if it’s kept some of its original charm no it just looks like any Old Railway Station

On my second full day in Malaysia’s capital city, I headed out to explore some of the city’s most famous and historic buildings on the Kuala Lumpur Heritage Trail.

I then walked to Kuala Lumpur’s oldest train station on my way to the Botanical Gardens.

I finished the day with a dodgy burger and some durian at the Jalan Aor street food district.
