Life on the FRENCH RIVIERA | A Peak into Saint Tropez during the Off Season

It is a change of scenery today I am in San TR and it is just so nice to be by the Sea and without all the tourists it’s actually completely empty just hear silence and it’s so nice and it’s a beautiful day today the Sun sun is

Shining and yeah it’s nice to be somewhere different rather than just being an ex on provance that’s where I am most of the time because I don’t drive but today Paul actually had to come here to do some work so I’m out exploring by myself right now and just taking in this

Moment I feel so good the sun on my face and yeah I thought I would take you guys along with me today I we were supposed to go to bormla Mimosa but I don’t think that’s going to happen today so we’re just going to hang around

Sant TR and maybe go to a nearby Village and I’ll show you guys around because I have not been here in so Long A It’s pretty amazing nature seeing the jellyfish and then this beautiful rock that I’m just sitting on right now it’s absolutely absolutely gorgeous it’s really really nice there’s like some people uh some workers here uh having lunch and it’s just a really really beautiful day this rock is just stunning H Paul has joined me we’re having a little lunch break we went and got a yummy baguette and I made some H chickpea salad we have some chips with herbs to Pon did we forget the olives we did we forgot the olives but we have some cherry tomatoes coming for It wow that’s pretty she is pretty hello yeah so we’re about to eat and then and then we’ll go in and show you guys around but yeah I’ve just been really taking in the moment and being by myself I love you too babe and I’m glad

You join you’re joining me now it was nice having it was nice having some quiet alone time by myself um but yeah we’re going to head in after lunch and yeah it’s just very healing being by the sea I am really really enjoying today even though we

Didn’t go to borla Mosa it’s it’s a good day Today Paul has already dug into the baguette just making sure it was good okay we’ve got this we’ve got that we got the chips I love those chips M yes okay take next Time it’s a cool hard outside my Window people don’t know which way to go we finally made it inside the town and we came down this really really cute little Street and now we’re just going to wander around it’s so different being here like on the off seon and I highly recommend coming here in the off seon I

Think even like March or April would be okay but when you come in June July oh my gosh it is packed and so many people and just not as nice to walk around so I definitely recommend coming here on the off seon what did you find look at that look

That Boog V the light some light coming through wow so Pretty so we have Dolce and gabana behind me and then we have Gucci right here and uh one thing is is that a lot of things in France are never like open year round or like in the US you can just go to the mall and have all the

Stores but here um in France things are open occasionally not all the time so this is like more seasonal when do you think everything opens here okay March April and then Paul was just saying how like in the Alps like things are only open during winter of

Course so it’s very very different um but that’s okay cuz we’re not we don’t shop at these stores we shop at thrift stores and there’s Dior behind me yeah look at the door house how big it is I know okay let me show Them We go under cover I will be your we’re up through night and day come on let me hear you say it’s going to C I want to be your don’t want The well maybe So we walked into this uh really pretty square but there’s a lot of construction going on right now because it’s off seon so every time I’m talking to the camera I can hear this in the background um but I still prefer definitely off seon to oh yeah the crazy busyness here it’s really

Nice Paul and I are uh looking at all the pigeons up on the the rooftop and I know a lot of people are scared of birds and like get grossed out by pigeons but I think why you see a lot of pigeons in my video is cuz I think

They’re so pretty they’re part of the provinal charm the Europe European city charm I think and I like their little cing and oh there’s a white one I think pigeons are Beautiful I’m making Paul come this way because I want him to see the view from over here a cool phot here babe I knew you would like it I like Itting

A walk in Saint Tropez during the off season is a different vibe. The days are calm and relaxed. I think visiting during the off season is a perfect time to visit , you have the streets to yourself and you can still enjoy lunch or a coffee on a terrace. I hope you enjoy seeing this side of the French Riviera.

    1. Very nice. I like a bit of bustle. But, it’s definitely, nice to miss full tourist seasons. Living there, it’s a great opportunity to explore without tourists, I’m sure. That’s how I felt, living in San Francisco.

    2. What a beautiful town. Back in the 80's when i would hear about The French Riviera, i had no clue how calm and beautiful it was. Thank you for sharing this video. Love the charm and relaxation vibe i got from the town.

    3. Sam, thank you so much for this peak at quiet winter Saint Tropez. I have visited once, with my son, and it quickly became one of my favorite places. Our first evening there, I ate one of the best and most memorable meals of my life right on the sand a few feet from the sea, which was swimming pool calm. I can't wait to go back to Saint-Trope, Antibes, Nice, and Monaco! Aix too, which I found to be just stunning, though I love the water.
