This is a healthy fried food that may even prolong your life…!? #anthropologisttravels
If you are planning a trip to Greece you have to try the local delicacy that you can find on the island Creek it may be the only healthy fried food in existence and is made with local herbs and fresh goats cheese and if you’ve seen yesterday’s video you know that these
Herbs might be the secret to a long and healthy life to the freshly chopped herbs olive oil salt and goats cheese is added and then they’re packed in a delicious homemade dough either fried or baked I promise you will not be disappointed when you try the kitsuna
Basically the world’s best and guilt-free fried food! Although you can have it baked too – if you’re worried about too much oil.
Kalitsounia are THE Cretan-Greek food.
I’ve observed that every household makes them slightly differently – there is also different kinds for different seasons. For example, Easter Kalitsounia use a special kind of cheese and mint leaves… in the winter the fresh herbs are used, in the summer you can even get RIP them filled with zucchini.
Whatever you do, make sure not to miss out on this delicacy on your next trip to Greece!

I'm from Crete (I was born there) believe me, come to Crete during Easter, which for many is the favorite time to visit and eat some meats, chicken chops and much more and you can also find it without any meat and in fact they are delicious, I hope you manage to find yourself at the celebrations that are held very often and don't leave Crete without tasting RAKI!!!! However, go to any mountain for climbing and have a good time ❤❤
I live in crete
