I found a camp ground in the small town of Rab, It was affordable at about 10 euro for a tent, it had showers and electrical, and was right by the sea! the ferry from Rab to Lun is a small boat and the captain helped me tie my bike down Lun, Croatia

Long distance bike tour starting in Milan Italy and then heading east towards Istanbul, traveling through Italy, Slovenia and Northern Croatia by bike. I was still acclimatizing to the long rides and the heat of the Mediterranean summer but really enjoyed cycling through the mountains in Slovenia and down along the coast of Croatia. I took a couple of ferries and island hopped to avoid some of the busier coastal road ( E65 ), instead I went from Kirk to Rab to Lun which was a scenic alternative. I stayed in a couple hostels and wild camped the rest of the time.

In May of 2019 I bought a one way ticket to Italy, put my bike in a box and started on a long distance bicycle tour, traveling across Italy towards the balkans with the goal of eventually reaching Istanbul, Turkey. A view into a long distance cycle tour with a loose collection of videos and photos.
