The Ultimate New England Road Trip: All 6 States in 7 Days!

I embarked on the ultimate solo road trip throughout ALL 6 New England states in just 8 days from from March 9th through the 17th. I started in historic Boston MA, then on to Salem, MA for a spooky tour through the cemetery and I even found the very recently discovered actual site where the tree stood from which all 21 Salem witch trial victims hung to death! Next it was on to Bangor, ME then to the West Quoddy Head Lighthouse, the most North Eastern point in the entire United States! Then down through Portland, ME for a night and then contining onward through Portsmouth, NH and seeing our nation’s founding legend at Plymouth Rock and the recreated 17th century Pilgrim village at Plymouth Plantation. I spent that night in Newport, RI and toured the opulent mansions of the Gilded age, both The Breakers & Marble House (built & owned by the Vanderbilts) and then drove to the enchanting seaport town of Mystic, CT. After exploring the town and their fantastic aquarium, I then went on to spend a night in the state capital of Hartford, CT and got to view the Samuel Clemens (better known as Mark Twain) house. I ended the trip with a quick stop driving under covered bridges in the quaint village of Grafton Vermont and finally crashed at my buddy’s house on the last night in Nashua, NH before flying back home from Boston the next day.
