and the goal of this channel is to make
your travel in Greece a lot easier it’s
also worth mentioning that I’m from
Greece and I was born and raised here so

let’s dive into today’s topic which is
about which gate you will need to board
from depending on which island you are
heading to now about peras Port peras is
the largest port in Greece and the
fourth busiest passenger port in Europe
with about 17.4 million passengers
annually there is a total of 10 gates at
the Passenger Terminal but five of these
Gates act as a boarding station for
pedestrian Travelers the remaining five
gates act either as a boarding stations
for cars or as a public bus terminal or
exits only for vehicles arriving from
certain destinations so let’s jump into
to where your gate is depending on where
you are traveling and by you I mean if
you are traveling with no vehicle so if
thees islands are your final destination
then E1 gate is where you need to board
from and these ladies and gentlemen are
the 14 Islands you can get to from gate
E1 and if your ship is let’s say
departing in the next 4 hours and you
really got to go to the bathroom don’t
worry about it you have bathrooms over
here at G1 and not only that you can
also enjoy a coffee before your ship
departs and have a snack or a little
meal before you go to your final
destination so relax now if the islands
of creit hios mitilini Iaria and Samos
are your final destination then you need
to board from over here at gate E2 now
keep in mind that creit is Greece’s
largest island and also the best by the
way creit has four main cities with its
capital and largest city being irako and
the second largest city being Kanya both
of which are reached from this gate over
here once again it’s worth mentioning
that over here at gate E2 there is a
cafe if you want to enjoy a coffee or a
snack Before you depart for the island
of CIT and also there’s a play area if
you’re traveling with children which is
pretty cool for you who have children
then besides that there is this
beautiful ban Vila tree which is perfect
for your Instagram shots with an amazing
background of this beautiful street art

destinations except the Western Cyclades
yes this is the part you were all
waiting
for oh and sorini cuz Greece has only
two islands right then gate E7 is where
you need to board from and these ladies
and gentlemen are the islands you can
get to from gate E7 so now would be a
good time to press pause if you would
like to see them and now that we finally
got the Cyclades Islands out of the way
remember that best island I was talking
to you about earlier that cre is
Greece’s largest island and also the
best by the way you can get to ethimo
from over here which is C’s third
largest city and it takes about 10 hours
to get there if your final destination
is the Sanic Islands then you’re going
to need to come from gate E8 so ladies
and gentlemen these are the Sanic
islands that you can get to from gate E8
the interesting part about these islands
is that they are the perfect Islands if
you are looking to escape for a day from
Athens that’s how close they are but
even though they are close try doing at
least two days to enjoy things a little
bit now the Last Passenger gate for you
as a pedestrian traveler is E10 which uh
entrance is from E9 now remember before
where I told you which gate to take for
the Cyclades Islands except the Western
cycl lates except the Western cycl lates
well this is the gate you need to come
from if you are going to the Western
Cycles these islands are over here just
go ahead and press pause again besides
the you can go to iara Island from here
also and S and the reason I say also is
because if if I take you back to G2 iara
and Samos yeah that part exactly that
you can get to these islands from over
here too I don’t know how it works
exactly but if I had to guess maybe you
should uh double check with your Ferry
company before going to one of these two
islands to see which gate you are
departing from now to get to pport you
can either take the blue or green line
on the Metro and if you’re coming from
the airport I would recommend you taking
the x96 bus and if if you would like to
see all the Athens airport buses you can
click at this video up here if you exit
the Metro on the other side of the
street don’t worry about it there is a
pedestrian bridge once you exit the
Metro you are entering gate E7 and the
first thing you will encounter is the
free shuttle bus that operates in the
port keep note that the shuttle bus
operates from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
officially and at this display you can
see the departure time for each shuttle
bus but please remember that the shuttle
bus goes from E7 to E1 and vice versa so
for E8 to E10 you might have to walk but
it’s not that far if you’re wondering
about purchasing tickets you can
purchase tickets at any gate but I
highly advise you to use an app such as
the fairy Hopper app and pre-book your
tickets just to be sure that you are
100% safe so that was it for today
