The Vibrant & Diverse Sydney, Au | My Unexpected Solo Trip to the Land Down Under – TravelDiary(23)

I know no one’s asking but here’s the kwento of my unexpected solo trip to Australia –
April of last year, I was supposed to fly to France for my first ever European trip and was super excited. Unfortunately, something really really bad happened to me and, I also had a minor issue with my employment pass. I had no choice but to postpone my trip and to move it to October 2023. I rebooked my flight, planned my fall/winter ootds, redo my itinerary, bought again tix for Disneyland Euro, made another arrangement to meet my high school friends, made some reservations again, etc. And BAM! My Schengen visa was refused by Embassy of France. Edi wow, diba? Çalēnté! 😭😅

A friend who just went to Australia suggested that I should visit Sydney or Melbourne instead. Few days later, I applied for an Australian visa and was granted after few hours. Whew! This unexpected solo trip to Australia became the best and most memorable solo trip ever (so far).
