[Music] [Applause] [Music] oh [Music] well hi guys it’s George from Cyprus insight and today we’re in the center of poish and we’re starting off at this car park and it’s not really a car park is it it’s someone’s old house it’s all being demolished can you see we just got the walls left here oh there’s a tiny wall over there let’s go and have a look around guys we are in the old part as I say so we’re going to have a look around oh there’s a lovely old house down there and the place is quite big guys it goes on for quite a while but this is the original poish I think we should go through that Arch over there and then round you can find there quite a lot fig trees growing near old houses they’ve established themselves near the walls there we are look look at that little wall still there this might have been the entrance what was this maybe a window and it’s gone there’s another old house oh look at that let’s go have a look at this there’s one on the right and I think that’s under restoration at the moment opposite it is the one that’s been restored but this one here next to this quaint little cafe looks like it’s abandoned look at this so this is the courtyard must have been somewhere very important quite affluent got a lot of money very big house it’s made of mud and probably Stone on the bottom I can see the mud bricks over there it’s overgrown it’s all locked up they have put a new Veranda or a neest veranda can you see that and theyve stabilized the building I think that’s that building next door just’s go and have a look these must have been out buildings and it’s all locked up up there guys we can’t get through them bushes oh wow one moment look at this going have a look there’s another old building up there there’s a staircase wonder if we can get in there so we got two staircases one going up there one going up here we just have to work our way around this jungle just go and have a look right wow look at this uh yuck let’s get out the way wow oh there’s the original entrance look at that over there guys so we are actually in the house there’s the arch we’ve seen this many of times you can see the little ring on the top of the arch which one should we go up there’s there the steps here or this one up here I think we should go to this one up here guys so let’s work our way up through the jungle what is this fig tree yep another fig tree worked its way around the balcony up we go here it’s open let’s go and have a look right here we go up be careful looks like it’s quite secure underneath here let’s open the gate gates open oh wow look at this it is amazing there’s the original doors let’s open up it’s got a ghostly feeling to it original ceilings nothing in here there’s the flagstone floor just shut there open this door oh what we got here was a cot that’s preventing us going in right we well go in there then so let’s go in the main room oh wow look at this this is amazing so we’ got the flagstone floor got some wardrobes some age to the wardrobes guys they all seem to be solid there’s another wardrobe with a big mirror let’s open it up oh I open that I heard some voices there we are can you see look all made of solid wood right shut that car around it’s massive look at this an old chair there more flagstone floors everything’s original guys we can see the ring on top of the arch look at these double doors someone very very rich used to live here guys there we are o display cabin it so this must to be front room shut that door was it a hotel guys I’ve just seen this on the floor look a tray Dusty old tray with cups and saucers left outside this door here I think it was an old hotel there’s another wardrobe mine that floor’s collapsed a little bit it’s just step over that yet another room it’s got two single beds yeah look at that solid wood everywhere secret compartments you can see the number the carpenter put in oh what was that heard some noise oh pigeons it’s bit Eerie guys I’m getting out right let’s get out of here which way out we got oh through here guys there we are out toand area some LA and plaster walls right I’m getting out of here guys I can feel a presence right we’re out of the place guys there it is I think it’s an abandoned hotel and this was part of it goes all the way around well we made it out definitely a ghostly hotel now that’s the front of that ghostly Hotel we’re going that way right guys let me show you the front oh he a lovely cat so we’re going around around this cobbled road guys went to the front of the ghostly Hotel oh it’s an antique shop a it beautiful around here there we are oh is it a museum guys I think it’s an antique shop there showing you all the old arts and crafts there’s a loom now some prices are marked up so I think it’s a little AR and craft shop that’s the building we went in we were up there behind this snake bar and this is the entrance or the that we saw from the back here so it’s partly restored this building and I think it was an old hotel oh we got a date there it is 192 too and that’s the entrance we saw from the other side guys here we are haunted hotel definitely haunted up there guys shame it’s Easter Sunday look homemade ice cream that would have been delish [Music] right let’s carry on around the haunted hotel so the ground floor has been used guys or part of it that’s been used over there this corner on the ground floor it’s been used for a photo laboratory and there’s the haunted hotel that’s the room we went in let me get up here on these steps it looks like we got an estate agent here and you can see the other rooms we went into over there so the ground floor’s been used for retail premises and there’s definitely something up there guys don’t know what oh three bedroom Villa with a pool 325,000 these look old look all these posters look old they look like they’ve been bleached by the sun let’s carry on around anyway so we’re leaving the haunted hotel and we’re carrying on round to the warehouses there we are there’s some of the warehouses guys or workshops many years ago ones of pub now not sure what these are probably nothing we’ve got retail shops everywhere so guys more workshops oh what’s this I’m sure these are workshops guys but what is this an old entrance to house very old Nate look at that we’ve got a cross on the top and we’ve got a date 1907 it’s all locked up they put new doors so I’m not sure what that is in there oh one minute we can peek through this gate here and another a look totally derel in there oh there’s the old church okay let’s carry on to the old church here we are this one’s been made into a Tavern oh hello of course it’s Easter Sunday guys everyone’s breaking there fast so lots and lots of meat around lots of barbecues going on today lovely Cafe here in the square what an amazing little square handmade items in here guys look at this it’s an art shop oh that looks really good in there more arts and crafts all these warehouses been made into little shops and cafes cobbled little roads everywhere all let’s go down there look look at that little cobbled road down there and look at that tiny little cobbled road well let’s go towards the church should we this must be the original Church guys I think there’s a date up there but I think the date corresponds to when it was restored at one time or another cuz it’s got 1905 I think this church is a lot older than 1905 let going have a look sh we hello so side entrance normally get in through the side entrance I know it’s got his original massive locks there we are need a big key for that we’ve seen that before many of times in fact we’ve seen keys for churches in some of the videos there’s a cafe right next to the church let’s go to the front and there’s the front guys there’s not another day but it’s definitely not 1905 more beautiful old buildings what’s this one now it’s an arts and craft Place vintage gifts how about this guys oh vintage jewelry lovely pearls look at those pearls I don’t think they’re real they’re 20 well I recognize a lot of this stuff guys and they’re calling it vintage H bit of a liberty isn’t it really calling it vintage I recognize quite a lot of it from my younger years right anyway let’s carry on down no comment on that guys oh look at that old olive tree right let’s go around to the right should we so we’re going into a more modern area on the left but we’ll go right guys stay within the old town we are yet another old abandoned house and this could be 1930s guys quite easily same as the one Straight Ahead definitely 19 1930s oh was a massive car park we missed this one never mind I think we parked somewhere very interesting didn’t we a modern restaurant over there so loads of restaurants and tavernas oh we at another car park that’s got disabled parking in it that’s handy right next to all the restaurants let’s go up here should we there’s some more Warehouse buildings wow look at this what you found all hanging kebabs here we’ve had those a couple of times haven’t we guys 1450 1550 and 18 CR ones yeah instead of being in the pitter bread they come on the skewer and they hang them on the side well presented I think look at this lovely old building here we are it’s got a courtyard and the courtyard has been made into a restaurant again that would have been owned by someone very affluent it’s massive it’s got beautiful cobal floor pizzas more restaurants it’s like being a Little Italy isn’t it you can get Kebab here look at that 850 and 950 with chips oh that’s unusual smoked salmon sandwich oh delish could do that from The Bagel that’d be nice look at the old hairdressers this is quite old isn’t it guys let’s have a look here we are yep that is a very old hairdressers all conveniently located bench outside while you’re waiting for your turn to get a haircut let’s go down this cobbled road more little cafes and restaurants ice cream oh ice cream across the road look at this Fountain oh wow that’s Lovely isn’t it look four lines head Fountain let’s go around here all pizza ovens and pizzas on menus and we’ve got a grand new building look at this it’s quite new isn’t it looks like it was rented out once before to a restaurant and they’ve gone more restaurants and shops mostly little cafes and restaurants guys got another ice cream shop o oh lots of ice cream shops traditional food sold in that Supermarket another old building oh smell that I think they’re burning some wood getting the barbecue ready where we parked down there do you think and there got no idea local cafe that was open in 1967 and next door is an ice cream shop was that opened hav got it oh that is amazing Street part look at that a lion fish snorkeling this building’s empty I wonder what that used to be let’s have a look sh we can see the original hinges here for the doors look inside I don’t know I think it was an office building guys oh yes it was a bank there we are the original ly bank went bankrupt in do believe 2008 taken over by Bank of Cyprus I do believe Olivewood art oh put this in here oh looks really nice in there lots of lovely gifts a lot more shops oh we came down here a while ago didn’t we and we made um soap remember look out for the video guys it weren’t here it was in peos that lovely convenient located bench oh that’s a good idea an old bike cover it in flowers sa riding it I suppose what’s this oh there we are free pick it up guys got all sorts of information in there more arts and crafts here we are some food out for the cats there we are another car park guys disabled parking public toilets I don’t know where we are oh look at our other old building over there right on the main road right let’s go down here should we we don’t know where we park do we I don’t think we do never mind guys we’re find the car or just wander around oh there’s a garden center there we are now look out for the video guys we did go to a beautiful garden center yesterday with an amazing Tea House and coffee shop we had the afternoon tea it was delish amazing oh look amazing we’ve made it back how did we get here no idea you knew where we were I think she’s lying guys she didn’t have a i clue where we were no idea there we are there’s the old walls there’s the arch there you see the arch and the arch was blocked in at one time you see that it goes this way and the other way and then it was blocked in smell them figs not ready yet guys let’s have a look there is any no not ready yet what a wonderful place to stroll around guys have a coffee ice cream slow beer bit of lunch really enjoyed that and I quite enjoyed the urban exploring up there in the haunted hotel don’t forget to like And subscribe and if there’s somewhere you’d like me to go put it
