Why I Was SO HAPPY IN TBILISI And Made Them Smile
this video is about the culinary Delights of Georgia protesters are still there we’re peaceful but angry Georgia is all about eating the women make an effort unbelievable yeah amazing Georgia one of my favorite cakes you absolutely must try the Russian law authentic Roots we’re sitting in history one of my favorite soups ever greetings to all of you from the famous rustavi Avenue here in Georgia now I’ve been here for a few days and I tell you for the month of May we’ve been having some horrendous weather I found a dry moment I don’t know how long it’s going to last but the truth is guys this video is not about the weather this video is about the culinary Delights of Georgia and today I’m going to share with you some unique places and unique foods that if you come to Georgia you absolutely must try so let me show you this city on a grim day and more importantly let me show you some amazing Foods let’s go as I’m walking down ravelli Avenue one of the things that I noticed and that fascinates me is how there is a serious contrast between sometimes the Der and The Brand Banking new find it so unique be sure to explore when you’re in Georgia because you could be walking along here take a look you could be walking along here you go boss right high-end store you can find it in most capitals of the world and it’s quite a big store so there must be demand and then just over here you’ll find an Alleyway and you wouldn’t believe that it’s part of the same building and then you come out on the other end and you’ve got this fascinating old structure behind me that’s wooden and you might even say falling to bits look at all this amazing amazing [Applause] [Music] Georgia so we’re back on roav Val and as you can see across the street you’ve got zenya this is probably by far the most hush part of Vissi but we’re looking for something specific something I’m excited to share with you I’ve only been there once a long time ago so let’s see if I can find it or remember where it is I went crossing the streets in Georgia just like most countries of the former Soviet Union and the East the you have these underpasses and traditionally as far as I know and for as long as I’ve been traveling to these part of the world it’s always been like a center for trading less and less so now in the countries that have joined the new Europe but this one’s alive and well and this one seems to be specializing yes what up with them this one seems to be specializing in camera gear which is interesting Venture in them because you can find some unique things if you see an underpass just randomly go in it you never know what you’re going to find two beautiful Doberman what’s the names Prince and duu Prince and duu oh very nice they you control them you control look at that guys Prince and Dai lovely dogs have a nice day my friend the beautiful chanels chrisan DS anything you can imagine shoes belts everything absolutely everything how are you you work here yeah good morning I want to show you this guys I’ve got allergies from outside any handbag you could imagine I think B good morning bissi has gained first place now for knockoff capital of the world any sunglasses you could imagine DOL Cabana Prada every belt now the thing is they’re not your Chinese knockoff I mean these are top top quality according to the guy who runs this place you couldn’t tell the difference this is my mate from Australia who actually owns the place so this is all his stuff and he was telling me that the quality is up there I mean often times I mean look at the look at these things they are I mean this is not your average Chinese knockoff this is like it looks like the real Real McCoy doesn’t it that’s ice so if you ever come to Georgia my mate here will hook you up so visit [Music] him guys I turned off into the alleyway and here you have it let me show you something unique and this I’m not sure how it’s the lighting but it’s nothing fancy but then again it doesn’t have to be let me show you through the hallway here so it’s underground it’s like a bunker in here with rounded ceilings I’m just walking through minding my own business and it’s so unique guys that if you do make it to tii when you’re in trissi be sure to visit this phenomenal place now let’s order something that is always on my list of to-dos and to experience and to eat when I am inisi good morning good morning how are you [Music] thank you so what I want it’s going to be good hello mate well you walk around with a lot of G you even got a gas fast then yeah well your Russians really good for are you British yeah oh right I couldn’t tell from yeah quick announcement guys about my YouTube membership group called The Justin Speak Easy Club Now by far the most common question I get asked on the meanwhile back to the video you’re all right yeah nice to meet you what’s your name Lou Lou what are you doing here making pictures of yeah working yeah exactly nice one what are you here for mate sorry here or in Georgia no here here specifically here what you well I was talking all right so yeah what do you recommend kapuri aari which is your typical haapi from an area of a mhm and it’s a boat filled with cheese they put an egg in it and I got to say this is probably the best place to have it there’s this place and another place I won’t mention it now but there are two great places this the original and these lemonades date from the the typical date from the um 19th century and they got some weird flavors I just had the chocolate and cream lemonade really weird but try it yeah all right thank you lovely to meet you Lou like so guys I’m waiting for my food but while it comes let me show you just how Charming this place [Music] is so guys this young man here who’s extremely talented speaks four languages his name is Nika and he brought me my little kapi he recommended I sit in this room all the way at the end because everything here is original how old is it uh 124 124 years old and this room is as it was all the marble everything is exactly as it was unbelievable guys we’re sitting in history and take a look at this I’m going to share this with you just now NAA thank you so much mate really appreciate that that’s NA guys so guys for those of you familiar with the channel um you know what this is for those of you that are not this is kapari my absolute favorite breakfast in the world it’s a Georgian breakfast this and you could say also the Bulgarian banit but this is absolutely amazing it’s a pastry boat of cheese with an egg on top and it is absolutely phenomenal a must try if you’re here in Georgia and I like to be a bit primitive with this so I eat it with my hands take off a little piece of the dough from the side and you dip in and you swipe hot but it’s amazing absolutely amazing guys I’m going to talk into this and then we’ll keep going that was fantastic thank you so much see you later byebye bye young ladies Bye by thank you so guys that was phenomenal I can’t emphasize it enough if you want to experience kapuri there were two places in Georgia and this is definitely one of them in another video we’ll try another and for those of you wondering where this place is the link will be in the description let’s keep going guys the sun is out and we got to make the most of it let’s go [Music] as I’m continuing my walk getting ready for lunch I need to walk at least a couple of miles to uh you know process what I’ve had so far because that was a big breakfast and I’ve ended up outside of the Parliament building here in uhi protesters are still there seems nice and peaceful well it seems like people are just standing around chatting amongst friends nice and peaceful and this is the loudest one in the crowd what she say translate for me I want to know what this lady is here for like be joyful like oh really like she’s praying for us like nice yeah GE cheers to Georgia and you speak good English we all speak English here very nice you’re all Georgian yes how it going in there we’re students so today struggling but it’s fine struggling but it’s fine yeah did they have the vote yet yeah they did in like one minute one minute yeah that was a big they were like Harry Harry we’re like in danger now and they did it all in one minute really they felt in danger you think I think yeah and rumors says it that they stay the night there some of them stay the night in not to have to come out into theow because like uh the other members of Like opposition members wanted to get in and they didn’t let them and that’s why there’s rumor that they so this has been going on for a long time how many times have you girls been here every day coming so you’re like some of my friends like spend nights here and they are coming really to spend the night here again yesterday night a festival really not Festival not joyful Festival missing some concerts we we are too angry for festivals really for angry people you have lovely Smiles I got to admit this is how the Georgians are angry this we we’re peaceful but angry well I wish you all the best of luck and you all have magnificent manicures I just want to say that what impressed me the most is just you three ladies have perfect manicur so all the best bye-bye good luck you too well there you have it guys the friendly peaceful protesters ofi so for those of you wondering in the last few weeks here they’ve been protesting a law that the government wants to pass that they’ve labeled the Russian law which the European Union opposes and says that if they pass this law it will distance them from the European Union and basically it’s uh it’s a law that would have to um to oblige NOS uh any entity here that receives funding from from a foreign entity as well to register that fact so the youth seem to oppose it and they’ve been protesting for the last month so there you have it your update on the Georgian news so but I was wondering how it would pass and it actually uh the vote passed this morning so good to know good morning young ladies and it’s true guys they did have Immaculate manicures I can’t emphasize this enough doesn’t matter what country in the East you go to Eastern Europe that is the women make an effort and as a guy what more could you ask for a woman that does her best to look as beautiful as she can [Music] just entered the Galler at B I’m probably going to be asked to stop filming but right in the entrance looks kind of cool let’s see how long I can run this camera before they ask me to switch it off nice car are you looking after the car that’s your job to protect the car hello there what car is that uh it’s a Chinese car it’s a sing uh and it’s for European really yeah it’s full electri how much does it cost uh with discount it cost $35,000 $35,000 yeah new yes it’s new you can you open it I want to look no I don’t have a key uh you can uh see it in our show yes street now the the the symbol looks like lamb Lamborghini yes it’s uh looks like Lamborghini horse yeah I confused it at first that’s done on purpose isn’t it yeah W by the way you have a lovely manicure look at that how do how do you type on the keyboard with it show type something yeah okay yeah unbelievable yeah it’s basic for me that’s magnificent broken this one tomorrow you have to fix it yes yes today today yeah what’s your name Maria Maria lovely to meet you thank you thank you so that’s a Urus knockoff no it’s looks like a yes cofy same quality it’s electric yes cool wow so guys I thought that was a Lambo when I came in it’s a Chinese let’s have a look inside 35 ,000 for a Chinese electric SUV 4 thing Friday I walked right past the security guard spoke to him and nobody asked me to switch it off what I’m going to check out guys like we do in all malls everywhere and my ambition wasn’t to end up in a mall but we’re going to check out the food court and see how local or westernized it is hopefully it still has its its genuine authentic Roots let’s go have a look look up there guys kind of like what I was expecting we’ve got KFC Wendy’s that’s one I haven’t seen in a long time now obviously the most popular and no more would be complete without the Golden Archers Good Old McDonald’s everybody loves McDonald’s by far the most popular restaurant here in Georgia and right next door you got Burger King it’s pretty apparent that uh the locals prefer McDonald’s over Burger King right you all like Burger King or McDonald’s it’s all empty pretty apparent guys that the most popular one is uh McDonald’s and right here we’ve got this uh Pizza past the Italian restaurant come on let’s have at least one Georgian thing here there is a restaurant with Georgian Cuisine here in the mall so they’re advertising a Georgian restaurant but it’s not there yet there is a heali Academy well done Georgia you’ve kept your identity a restaurant that serves loads of kis I want to show you in unique places not things that you’re just going to stumble upon cuz you ended up at the mall so there’s the mall for you let’s keep going well guys look what I’ve come across this looks amazing let’s go and have a look inside oh man hello how are you they have a variety of oh man this looks good looks good looks [Music] good guys I think I’ve made my mind up I want to do do something typical so honey cake one and this uh look at that guys and Turkish coffee DD MOBA sit bring all we sit you bring it to us thank you full service guys full service thank you my friend so guys what we have here is known as medovik honey cake not typically from Georgia but always available in Georgia and one of my favorite cakes so let’s see how nice is the honey cake here in bissi just a little snack before lunch and I’ve said this before if you plan a trip to Georgia go on a diet beforeand because you want your clothes to be loose when you get here so as they’re tight by the time you leave oh so good next guys there’s this thing which I’m not quite sure what it is I hope it’s delicious because um it just doesn’t look right does it very mushy it’s kind of like um Shredded Wheat soaked up Shredded Wheat I don’t know if you can see that that’s exactly what it is shredded wheat in milk with sugar and a load of grated pistachio on top anybody can make this in England take you 2 minutes quite used to have for breakfast as a kid but lovely well guys I’m going to tuck into these and then um we’ll keep going in ly till we get ready for lunch [Music] guys next on the list is this little place inisi that I like to come to I actually discovered it with a subscriber last time it’s dark I don’t know why it’s so dark in I’m hoping they’ve PID the electric bill it’s so dark in here how in the hell am I going to make a video there are these tables here but it says booked let’s see if we can convince them let’s see if she does it for us minutes hope we get the table where you from this is National Dress yes you have a party today or you dress every day like this 4 I wear tradition but it’s not hard to work with these shoes this is not Japan in Taiwan made in Taiwan taian comtable comfortable yes wow very good good what’s your guys we made it we have the light VIP room now let me tell you VIP or not this place is not very fancy you got plastic tables like I said not fancy but if you want an authentic meal at a phenomenal price this is the place so so guys nothing fancy this is the menu but the dishes are very unique and very typical for here I ordered two dishes one souo the other one or I’m can I tell you something I think the only difference is the ball because they look identical I’ll let you know I’ll start with the soup one of my favorite soups ever so this is your typical Georgian soup it’s got beef inside and rice walnuts oh so delicious needs a bit more salt look what they got they knew I was coming they put chili flakes on the on the table oh yeah that’s what I’m talking about let’s get this let’s get this show on the road guys you get these bits of beef inside been cooking for so long lovely next up is the AUST austri which in Russian actually means spicy so I’m hoping it is the thing is what I found is that when I travel in this part of the world their definition of spicy and mine it’s two different things spicy so right here is ustri let’s see how spicy this spicy is I think they forgot the spiciness but tasty really tasty typical Georgian I can’t complain guys I mean yes I like my spicy food but in terms of flavorful and delicious this is last guys this is my uh one of my favorite Georgian dishes called Lobo which is basically a bean stew this place in particular I absolutely love their bean stew and once again I like to uh spice it up a bit because that’s not even supposed to be spicy that’s just like but as you know I like to make everything spicy so let’s try this Lobo typical Georgian delicacy right here love your is great get ready for it guys Georgia is all about eating and there’s so much to try even if you came here for 10 days and tried something different for every single meal you wouldn’t get through half of it so I’m going to tuck into this burn some of this off by walking around town and then see you at dinner well guys that was map Shalia for you once again all the places I eaten today I’ll leave the link in the description to the exact location so if you come to Georgia and you want to enjoy these things then it’ll be easy for you to find [Music]

Sorry Sir, don`t get it wrong, but "khachapuri po adjarski" sounds little weird. Just say properly "Adjarian khachapuri". Thanks!
Bravo
i love хачапури по аджарски! i laughed off at your possible attempt to troll a few georgians hahaha great content again, loved it!
out of curiosity, where did you learn Russian?
They basically protest against transparency of what goes (where the money flows) on in their country. These are useful idiots. Sadly.
HI, THERE great job like always love Georgia, peiole, culture, amazing everything
Tres belle vidèo mon ami, tres differente de celle ou tu etais en banlieue de londres et tu cherchais deseperement le restaurant bulgare,la belle vie est à l'est my friend 🙌🤣🤣🤣🤣🙌
Just missed you by a few days, We were there for 2 weeks (in Turkey too) . Really like Tbilisi. Of course all your videos got me interested, thank you!
Thanks Great Video Justin!
Any simpleton worth their weight in Sulee-Gulee knows that you are Russian born in England when your parents migrated to England. Just like Bald and Bankrupt, you are in search of your heritage pretending to have learned Russian while you learned it growing up in England from your parents. In your case it is obvious you are or were an intelligence Officer for Mi, I'll stop there.
What do you think about this Russophobia in Georgia? Is it normal? :))
The old restaurant was so cool.
ეს კიდე ჩამოვიდა? რაღაც ეს კაცი თვალში არ მომდის კარგად
Hope Georgia can keep its values and traditions…
Chinese cr.p, no need to show us garbage please!
Thanks once again for posting another entertaining video. God willing I should be in Tbilsi at the end of the month, if I am not stranded in either Birmingham or Istanbul. My upcoming visit to Georgia is certainly going to be somewhat of an adventure.
Justin, young man, funny to see a Brit, after Brexit, going around with Georgians dreaming about entering EU.
Just enjoy. I'll be there soon. .
I wish, you, westerners, leave Georgia alone.
It is not up to you what law Georgia will adopt. Tha law was created in America and it is American law not Russian. So, get lost….
P.S
You like food, especially georgian food!!!!
Why? Because no american woman knows how to cook!!!!! Period!!!!
To the girl with the yellow whistle around your neck, red nails, black hoodie. Contact me ❤
I just recently discovered this year that this place is still open. For some reason i thought it was closed. It was a place to go in my childhood for khachapuri somewhat in nineties and I am so glad that it has preserved its authenticity and quality.
1 week later and I’ll be in Georgia 🇬🇪 for my 1st time ever! I’m really excited, curious and don’t know what will be my impression seriously
Justin are you going to visit Armenia in this year?
Hey Justin, Are you still in Tbilisi?
My God, girls there ARE QUEENS
Russian law? comon man.
🇬🇪🇺🇦🏴🇺🇲🇪🇺♥️✌️✌️✊🤝
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
You gotta be going to Baku next, Thats unfair lol
“Peaceful” ? 😂😂
His “Ruski” is perfect I think he is a retired former KGB agent😅🎉
Thanks for your words about Georgia and people ! and also thank you for showing this small but amazing place on earth ! one thing i would say is "po adjarski" is a Ruzzian pronounce but for Eng you can say Adjaruli Khachapuri ❤
I hate the way you reduce three strong, eloquent, literate, passionate protestors to their pretty smiles and manicures. There's so much at stake in Georgia and these young women have a right to be angry (and an unavoidable responsibility to do something about it). Please can you try to move beyond this very antiquated sexist attitude which colours so many of your dealings with women in your videos.
U’ve got weird energy bruv! Why would u say “I’ll be soon” to that lady in Russian? The way u “compliment” girls for their nails. Calling Adjaruli Khachapuri in Russian?! “Whats that brada, brada eewwww” 🤢 can describe the best my feeling about this video. Couldn’t even watch till the end. Dislike 👎🏽
13:20 this is awkward 😮
It's not a Russian law, this law is just normal, they have the same law in the USA. It protects Georgia against foreign influence, including from Russia. This president is just a puppet of the EU. Joining the EU will see proud Georgians lose their democracy and be ruled by a foreign unelected power in Brussels. When Georgians wake up to what the EU is, they will be burning those EU flags they like to wave around. These protesters many of them are planted there by the EU and it's opinion buying money all over the media – it always does this.
