Granada, Spain | Travel Vlog – Top 22 Things For Tourists To Do On A Day Trip
[Music] this is the view we waking up to [Music] Sunrise our first day is going to begin at Granada I’ll see you guys there [Music] we at s of coffee now and we’re going to grab a latte to go hi can we order a takeaway can I get two L okay too big we are on our way to Granada from Malaga today and we took the first direct train out which was at 9:25 and we’ll reach in an hour and 15 minutes okay we’ll see you guys there it’s 10:40 now and we’ve arrived in Granada and the thing about the train is none of the coaches are right and we didn’t get the right seats but it’s okay cuz nobody kicked us off so I guess just take note of that when you’re here now we are heading to we’re at the monaster de jono [Music] if you’re really into looking at sort of like the old artwork and seeing the CP things like that it’s a really interesting experience and also you can download an app which has their audio guide it was €6 for entry and there wasn’t as much as we thought there would be and side there you’re not allowed to take photos or videos in there either but the outside of the building looks really spectacular the detailing and the architecture look gorgeous oh it’s like candy nuts and stuff well I just have a ton of you want to get itce how did you eat this did you just like I just pour it into my mouth both of them oh I I finished mine before she popped it up it’s good it’s actually really good as good as candy nuts can get it says alra [Music] [Music] we’re going to check out the El casier area El casier is a series of intertwined sort of alleys with lots of cute shops inside it it’s really bustling lots of stores here this way and on the top in the ceiling they have I guess scars it kind of feels like turkey is this Plaza called Plaza B the mic is here you can talk to my chest okay I am so tired I’m not wearing my mic lots of cute little plazas all around and they always have some sort of focal point and this one is this beautiful Fountain this is giving alra Vibes for sure lunch for today is going to be at Taberna Lana and this is a really cute place it opens at 12 voila there like so much wine at the back and we just ordered wine by telling him what our preferences were we have no idea what we’re going to get but I’m pretty sure it’s going to be good and relle is in charge of ordering the food this taste is so [Music] cute in Granada when you order drinks they also give you a AAR so this is the tomatoes and this is the white [Music] sausage it really good very fresh and this is the white sausage it’s one of the popular things that you should order here right M The Taste is very light s of like a brat wor but actually even lighter in flavor when you chew it like the fat kind of melts in your mouth it’s pretty good hi can we get this half seasoned [Music] Tomatoes it’s very sweet half as well which is a tomato soup so we are overloading on tomatoes today that’s basically the only vegetable we have it’s quite thick it’s really creamy it’s actually really nice I think they did this really well okay we can drink of vegetables half a dry spicy bread sausage maybe you need to have it with bread [Music] M it’s mixed with a love onions there’s also pine nuts in it and it doesn’t taste very bloody if that makes sense it’s not as strong as like um an English black pudding it’s lighter than that yeah but it does taste quite musky is there anything else else here that you recommend oh can we have this is good yeah okay the guy who came out to talk to us bought us our wi we’re just so SC of him we are on our way to the Palace the alra palace where both of us watch the K drama memories of a Hamra so we’re so excited to just go and check it out just because we saw in the K drama and it’s also the top thing to do here in Granada the sign says stairs upwards and we’re going to be heading all the way up there it’s actually mega mega hot right now I can’t imagine what it be like in the summer though it’s is a summer oh in one more month’s time main [Music] entrance oh my gosh honestly I would suggest just taking a car up especially when it’s summer cuz it’s very hot the views behind this there are really cool what have we done if you took the car it should drop you around here but I guess we went through the back and we just walked [Music] up we just arrived and we’re going to go through the ticket entrance okay do you have your passport ready yes we’re going in we’re heading towards the General Life Gardens now before we head to the Palace this is the General Life guidance we bought tickets a few days ago but my sister had to keep refreshing the page cuz it all sold out it was around €0 for ticket when you buy a ticket you pick a time slot and that time slot is actually to enter the NZ Palace but you can enter the grounds before that so do take note of the timings and you also need your passport which they scan at the entrance but look how beautiful this place is this combination of [Music] flowers this fit is so pretty and on the last there’s here these viewpoints are so pretty [Music] wow we are now heading to the main event when you go through the general LIF Gardens basically you Loop Brown and then you come back to the start about a 15minute walk to the nazara Palace from the general life so we’re just doing that now and I can’t believe we’re still in the compound this face looks very [Music] different I wonder what they stage here like concert it’s like a Coliseum almost we made it’s 3:15 now and they always recommend coming half an hour early for a time slot because you actually have to queue to get in but the queue isn’t too bad I guess like that long the main event of today is ours and as usual no flash photography no selfie STI I think the key points are all the decorations on the ceilings W just look at how beautiful this place is I’m literally just going to take lots of architectural shots because that’s what this place is all about like the detailing on the wall is just crazy look at that [Music] [Applause] [Music] what did you think of the nazer palace that’s very nice very picturesque the detailing on the wall right yeah it’s about an hour to get through and we did take some photos not that many actually but we’re heading to the AL kazaba now our next up luckily they have lots of drinking water refill stations everywhere so you can top up your water bottle inside [Music] Tel Kubo Viewpoint honestly I think if you’ve seen one Viewpoint you’ve seen it all and that’s probably the highest point that you can get to here we’re going to climb and head to the highest point [Music] he we walked down a different way that we came up and this walk is just a lot more pleasant because there’s lots of trees so it’s shaded whereas just now when we walked up it was so hot so I recommend walking up this side we’re heading to BGA casanada for a quick drink oh yeah that famous One apparently this place is good for drinks not so good for food we’re going to try some of the Granada drinks and Rose is going to get the buut and I’m getting the faaza and both of them are like drinks with mixers but they’re apparently Gada Specialties so let’s give it a try I’m excited we both want something more refreshing which is why we didn’t just get a glass of wine just taste really diluted so strong at the bottom I guess it’s coke maybe Cola wine and ice but it’s really refreshing though without being too heavy yeah it’s like a mashed potato egg salad thing and also some olives we are going to bar hop so we’ll see you guys in the next one L manes it’s in quite a nice square but we know it’s quite like a Titi but it’s a good review Titi we’re going to grab a sangria just because we have about 40 minutes till our train comes and we didn’t really manage to find anywhere to eat because a lot of places close at 5: to around 8 p.m. because it’s their Siesta time so if you’re looking for food around that time just make sure you check the opening hours [Music] [Music] and for the top house we got a couscous salad I thought I tasted it okay this try this look at it it’s yeah look at it it’s cumba Apple it’s Apple try this no try this a cucum I’ll put my house on it so did you have a good day in Granada it was really tiring we walked 22,000 steps and we still have to walk 20 minutes to the station what was your favorite thing about Granada visiting the alhamra like the area that was really cool cuz it was really big there was lots to see and I think we drank a lot as well but like the wine bars were really good we didn’t drank a lot we drink Lauren says that she can only have one glass of wine or she gets a headache but she’s lying six year olds what was your favorite part of the day well I just like walking a lot a lie I’m tired you get a lot of exercise and then you can justify all the drinking and eating I mean the castle is nice but I just want to exercise H ha [Music]
