Welcome to my new vlog! Our video begins in the beautiful city of Catania, where we start our journey standing at Piazza Stesicoro, one of the most central and lively locations in the city. From there, we headed to Catania Airport, rented a car, and drove straight towards the stunning hilltop town of Taormina, one of the most scenic destinations in Sicily.
In this vlog, we mainly explored Taormina town, starting with the lively piazza a pranzo , where we enjoyed delicious pizza and admired the beautiful views. We then walked through Taormina Old Town, visited the historic Church of Saint Anthony Abbot, and strolled along the famous Corso Umberto street, which is full of shops, cafes, and vibrant local life.
Our journey continued to Piazza Duomo, where we explored the Cathedral of Taormina from inside and saw the famous Baroque-style fountain in the square. We also visited the iconic Taormina balcony viewpoint, known for its breathtaking panoramic views of the sea and surrounding mountains. This video captures the charm, history, and beauty of Taormina, making it a must-visit destination for travelers exploring Sicily.
