After careful consideration I decided to reassess my camping goals and get a smaller tent I'm torn between these two models now just wondering what peoples thoughts were also I'd like to pair it with sun shelter, or awning I'm aware they don't come with one but I'd like to be able to sit outside of it under some shade. any insight is appreciated.

I currently homeless man living in the core tent.
Pros:
-very spacious and cozy. Can fit a cot in here along with a small table and lawn chair with two baskets of clothes.
-sturdy in high winds with the guy lines up
-easy set up
-great ventilation
-nice back wall storage net attachment and small net for storage where you hang a lantern
-generator holes inside tent
Cons:
-Not waterproof. Water will get in from the bottom in heavy rainfall. Front door leaks bad in rain as well.
-has ventilation mesh at bottom of tent which allows bugs easy access
-front part that is meant to wipe your feet doesnt stay in place always ends up under the tent somehow
North face wawona
Smaller tent ? These two are far from small tent category.
Id look for NatureHike products then get separate tarp with that for your canopy
